Is the result a definitive legal classification?
No. It is a preliminary, indicative classification based on your answers. The actual classification depends on the intended purpose, deployment context, sector, product law and facts not captured by the questionnaire. Only a formal legal and technical assessment can determine the classification.
Does the tool replace a conformity assessment?
No. The tool helps identify the likely risk category. The conformity assessment (Art. 43) is a formal process that requires technical documentation, risk management and, in some cases, intervention by a notified body.
Does the tool cover GPAI?
Yes. If you indicate that your system is a general-purpose AI model, the tool assesses whether it may have systemic risk (>10²⁵ FLOPs) and the applicable obligations.
What should I do if my system is high-risk?
